Why must my PC not be allowed to go to sleep?

Answer

Algos cannot run or function correctly in Sandwich when your PC goes to sleep.

Sandwich, by design, runs on your PC and not on a server (this is for privacy and security). Sandwich execution algos run on your PC. If your PC goes to sleep, the algo cannot perform certain functions such as sending or receiving data, performing calculations or placing new orders. It is therefore imperative that your PC does not go to sleep whilst algos are running.

We suggest that you disable sleep mode for any power supply source applicable to your PC, whether battery, plugged in, or both.
